I'm sitting at my office today, Friday, June 21st, and just bumming that I can't be in Scottsdale with 300 of my closest friends at the cerecdoctors Mentor Group Symposium. I heard nothing but great things about the speakers and information on day 1. I decided I should probably do something productive to take my mind off of things so I did a CEREC today. I wanted to show a product I was trying out called Hy-Brite. This is a new polish from dentalventures of America. You can find them online. People are always looking for a good polishing paste for the new lava and enamic materials. I did an MOD onlay in lava today and tried out this paste and I have to say I liked it. You need to use a soft #11 robinson brush and not run it too fast. All I did was pre-polish any scratches with a premier fiber point wheel and then used Hy-Brite on the occlusal and interproximal. I got a nice polish in relative quick time. I have not tried it on enamic yet but will report back when I do. Here are some photos of before and after. I'm going to do a lot more of these today to keep my mind off of not being with my friends out west!!
