Mike Skramstad I wanted to post what I did on my first patient of the morning. Dad calls me last night that 13 year old daughter broke her tooth and needs to get it fixed.
She shows up with this preop:

Luckily, they had the broken tooth with them and I just bonded it back on.
Since the tooth was dehydrated obviously and unesthetic like this, I just prep a groove at the transition and a light bevel around it and bond some composite at the transition.
This worked out really great, was done with no anesthetic, and should hold up for quite some time. My long term plan will be to create a veneer over the top a la Pascal Magne... but I will wait until she is a bit older.
