Watched this great video on the Sonicfill and I think Kerr hit a home run with this product. I was at one of their retreats about 2 years ago where they introduced the Sonicfill to the group and many were skeptical. However, after watching the reviews of the users who use this system, I think Kerr has a winner on their hands.
The Sonicfill uses sonic energy to vibrate the composite into the prep. Basically by using ultrasonic energy, the composite becomes more flowable and results in a denser fill with no voids. I typically mill my restorations with the CEREC if I am doing a MO or MOD, but for those cases where milling is not an option, then the Sonicfill would be a good tool in the tool belt. Check out the video and let me know what you think. I've heard nothing but rave reviews from clinicians who are using this on a daily basis in their offices.
