OMNICAM to Resonate with Masses!

I just got back from a very busy 3 days in San Francisco at the ADA convention.  I worked the booth with Darin Obryan, Mark Fleming and Doug Schulz.  I have worked many of the large conventions for Sirona the last 5 years.  I have done the last 4 ADA conventions.  This convention was the busiest one I can remember in some time.  I have to say that there were tons of CAD and CAD/CAM options at the show and many dentist were out there looking for more info.  The booth at the ADA was so busy for 3 straight days.  People were just amazed by the new technology.  I spoke to both dentist and non dentists from 9:30-5:30 each day.  I love showing how I image an arch and then I would tell them that they were going to be my assistant and image the opposing arch and the buccal bite.  I had a person who worked for an investment company that was covering dental.  He wanted more info on CAD/CAM and specifically the Omnicam.  When I showed him how to image and told him how to capture in the mouth and had him take the camera from me, he told me that he is not a dentist.  I told him I just want him to see how easy it was to image.  I wish you could have seen the smile on his face watching him capture the upper arch of the typodont he was imaging.  He could no believe how user friendly it was, especially for someone with no experience in the field.  The weekend was great and it was just fantastic to hear the tremendous feedback from everyone who picked up the camera.  Looks like this Omnicam is really going to resonate with the masses.  After spending the weekend with it, I'm not the least bit surprised!!
