Single anterior GC Lustre Paste NF
This long time patient came in a few weeks ago with a chief complaint of a broken front tooth. Turns out he fractured # 9 off midway. No pulp exposure. Said he woke up with the tooth in his mouth. Unfortunately I did not take a pre-op photo as he was a 30' emergency time slot. He brought the piece with him so I just placed it on the tooth and took a Blue Mousse quick tray impression and prepped and temped. He returned yesterday for final prep and scanning and design. Used eMax LT A3 with GC Lustre Paste NF single bake P3. Shade paste cervical and mid third and Bill Marais incisal recipe in incisal third. Pretty good result.

Nice job. I haven't had any anteriors lately, but that result is plenty good enough to motivate me to break out the Luster Paste and try it.
General question: is the Lustre Paste compatible with all or at least most CAD CAM ceramics we use in our office? GC says it is for their initial iq ceramic system...
Looks great David...nice to use the remaining piece to copy...love the Lustre paste and the "magic" concoction
Thanks all! Catherine I in fact should have used the piece for a biocopy case but used it for the temp in the emergency appointment. That would have been the smart thing to do or at least biocopy the temp. But hey that's to easy. Instead I actually did this as a bio reference case. Copied #8 and the closed the slight diastema he had with the anatomic tool per his request. Hence why it's a tad wider.

Haddon, I suppose you can try it but GC Lustre paste is a different animal. When I used the Ivoclar brand I tended to use the I2 grey stain a lot on the incisal. The kit only comes with I1 the blue incisal so you may want to order a syringe of I2.
