Prerequisites: Basic Dental Sciences: Completion of foundational courses in dental anatomy, physiology, and pathology.

Provisionalizing and Restoring Implants with CEREC (CL3)

Prerequisites: Fundamentals of CEREC Dentistry (CL2) Highly Recommended

CEREC will produce highly esthetic implant restorations with optimized occlusion and contacts, whether you are treating a single tooth or complete quadrant. Fabricating chairside implant restorations opens an avenue to be more productive in one's office whether you are temporizing an implant with a custom healing abutment or provisional restoration or fabricating the final restoration. This workshop is designed to get users familiar with all aspects of restoring implants with the CEREC technology.

Anterior Esthetics with CEREC (CL4)

Prerequisites: Fundamentals of CEREC Dentistry (CL2) Highly Recommended

Many doctors don't realize the full potential of their CEREC technology because they don't use it to its full capacity. Some feel they can only use CEREC for posterior teeth, and consequently they lose out on the opportunities offered by anterior CAD/CAM dentistry. In fact, with CEREC you can achieve esthetic results equivalent to high quality labs.

Comprehensive Restorative Care with a Digital Workflow (CL5)

Prerequisites: Anterior Esthetics with CEREC (CL4) Required

CEREC goes beyond just single-tooth dentistry. This workshop is a natural extension of the "Anterior Esthetics with CEREC" workshop where participants will learn techniques for comprehensive cases including: how to perform virtual wax-ups, basic fundamentals of smile design and how to stage full mouth cases.

The Next Level of Esthetics with CEREC (CL7)

Prerequisites: Anterior Esthetics with CEREC (CL4)

Participants will focus on photography, case presentation, color and shade selection, contouring, staining and glazing as well as final esthetic cementation of an anterior case.

Attendees are expected to have already taken the CL4 workshop or have a thorough understanding of the CEREC software with regards to designing and milling.

Cone Beam Basic Training (CB1)

Prerequisites: None

Once you have completed your initial in-office training with your Dentsply Sirona Clinical Implementation Specialist and viewed the training videos on CDOCS.com, you're ready for the Cone Beam Basic Training workshop. This workshop will focus on learning the fundamentals of Cone Beam technology including reviewing a volume in its entirety. The workshop will focus on getting users comfortable with the operation of the Cone Beam hardware as well as learning the software used to power the device

Advanced Cone Beam Diagnostics (CB2)

Prerequisites: None

This course is hands on and case based and designed to prepare each participant to systematically review a CBCT volume, recognize and categorize signs of abnormalities and how to manage the resultant findings. Learning will be facilitated using CBCT cases from the board certified oral maxillofacial radiologists teaching the course.

Introduction to Sleep Medicine (CB3)

Prerequisites:

This course will follow a typical sleep apnea patient on their journey from start to finish. Over two days you'll learn how to identify, screen and diagnose patients for obstructive sleep apnea. As well as select, fabricate and deliver an oral appliance for treatment. Plus, you'll better understand the business side of sleep dentistry and how it can impact your practice.

Prerequisites: None

Each step of endodontically treating and restoring a tooth is connected. This course walks the participant through each step of performing root canal therapy chairside in the most efficient manner – with each step building on the success of the previous.

Prerequisites: Fundamentals of Endodontic Therapy (CE1) is Required.

This course builds on Fundamentals of Endodontic Therapy workshop and extends your endodontic knowledge to the next level. With extensive hands-on exercises and using advanced diagnostic tools participants will be able to perform cases of increasing complexity such as complex root morphology, difficult to anesthetize cases and more.

Fundamentals of Implant Planning & Surgery (CI1)

Prerequisites: None

This course is for the dentist that is just starting out in their journey with implant surgery. The workshop will focus on implant fundamentals, clinical and radiographic findings, contraindications to treatment, planning utilizing appropriate cone beam technology, crown proposals as well as the basics of the software needed for implant planning and placement.

Prerequisites: Fundamentals of Implant Planning & Surgery (CI1)
Fundamentals of Guided Implant Surgery with Cone Beam (CI2)
Hard and Soft Tissue Grafting in Digital Dental Implant Therapy (CI3a)
Advanced Hard and Soft Tissue Grafting in Digital Dental Implant Therapy (CI3b)

This 2-day workshop will take participants through the full digital workflow on how to treat a fully edentulous patient. Utilizing CEREC and cone beam, users will learn the tips and tricks for a systematic workflow for treatment planning, designing and executing full arch implant therapy for patients.

Implants in the Esthetic Zone (CI5)

Prerequisites: Previous implant placement experience recommended

This workshop will focus on optimizing the esthetics for implants placed in the esthetic zone. We will discuss esthetic risk assessments, atraumatic extraction techniques to preserve bone, implant placement techniques to minimize tissue loss and more. Restorative topics such as proper abutment selection, material selection for optimal techniques will also be discussed.

This is not an introductory course and is recommended for advanced users.

Comprehensive Digital Implant WorkflowPlan, Print, Place, and Restore (CI6)

Prerequisites: This advanced workshop is intended for those doctors who already have implant placement and restoration experience but would like to learn the workflow as taught by Dr. Ludlow. Doctors who would like to learn the fundamentals of implant placement should look at the Level 1 and 2 implant workshops.

This workshop, specifically designed for participants already placing and restoring implants and comfortable with the SICAT workflow, will focus on how to apply the fully digital pathway in an anterior esthetic case from the initial diagnostics to guided surgery all the way through the final restoration.

Advanced Understanding in Clear Aligner Therapy (CO2)

Prerequisites: Fundamentals of Clear Aligner Therapy (CO1) is Required.

This advanced aligner workshop features education on clear aligners using the Suresmile system. Hands-on workshops for this course will include selection and placement of attachments to express specific movements, identifying when and how to use IPR in aligner treatment planning, and reading the treatment timeline with regard to IPR, aligner templates, and attachments.

Digital Denture Workflows

Prerequisites:

This workshop will cover the reference denture workflow. We will take a poor fitting existing denture, do a physical wash impression, scan, and then design and print both a try in and final complete maxillary denture out of denture base and denture tooth resin. We will also discuss techniques for immediate dentures and complete over complete workflows.

Advanced inLab Software Mastery

Prerequisites: Anterior Esthetics with CEREC (CL4) is Required.
Comprehensive Restorative Care with a Digital Workflow (CL5) is Recommended.

This course is not for the faint of heart!

CEREC software has become more advanced and when coupled with additional software versions, it opens a whole realm of possibilities for individual clinicians. This workshop sets the foundation to execute more comprehensive digital workflows using a combination of the CEREC and inLab 22 CAD software.

This is not an introductory course and is recommended for advanced users with significant experience with CEREC and computer software.
