SiroWorld - See you There
I read it that you need to pay for your spouse- since there is a category that's called "staff, spouse or guest" $995 for a regular ticket- hope I'm wrong about that though!
Hi Dave,
As a mentor, you can bring one complimentary guest and that guest can be your spouse.
Hope that helps!
Amanda
Thanks Amanda! Â
Â
Im so excited for this meeting. Â It will be epic with the announcement of Jerry Seinfeld. Â Phenomenal time! Â
I just saw this and got my email about an hour ago from Sam. . Thanks  Fortunately Siroworld registration changed my guest pass to N/C instead of $995 :-)
Its been a busy couple of weeks as we have been preparing for workshops and seminars but I finally had some time to sit down and type some thoughts on an upcoming event later this summer.  I know that many are planning on coming to SiroWorld later this summer but if you are not, let me get on my soapbox and put you over the edge and attend this meeting.
I've been a CEREC user since late 2003 and prior to that I had founded a company with a good friend - Dr. Tarun Agarwal called the Townie Meeting. We were an event planning business and we held a yearly meeting in Las Vegas.  I ran this company for 10 years until we sold the meeting to Dentaltown who now run this yearly meeting.
The reason I bring this up is that it is through the Townie Meeting that I met the folks at Sirona and eventually bought my CEREC machine.  And as my relationship with Sirona grew, I got to know the folks behind the scenes, Tarun and I were asked to help run the first CEREC celebration back in 2006.  This was the 20 year celebration of CEREC.  1500 dentists in attendance and an absolutely fantastic event. Â
Well, I've been involved with every single CEREC meeting since - CEREC 25, CEREC 27.5, CEREC 30, and now CEREC 31@Siroworld.
Yes, I know the event in Orlando is being called SiroWorld but make no mistake- you will be at the 31st anniversary of CEREC.  While the meeting is larger with more speakers and tracks other than just CEREC- there will be a tremendous CEREC presence- hence CEREC 31@ SiroWorld.
In the years that I've been involved with Sironas CEREC celebrations, I have been impressed by how much they put into putting on a great meeting. Between the speakers, the venue, the logistic, the AV- its phenomenal.  Those of you that were at CEREC 27.5 and saw my keynote address giving the first public presentation on the Omnicam camera saw my presentation on a 200 foot screen.  I was blown away!
SiroWorld will be no less spectacular.  While Richard Branson that everyone knows will be fantastic - I'm actually looking forward to another keynote speaker Connie Podesta.  I had the opportunity to see her speak last year. She is funny and gives a great lecture. If you find that sometimes you have trouble connecting with your patients - that treatment plans don't always go so well- you will relate to her presentation.
Of course, there is the entertainment planned that is Jerry Seinfeld who for a lack of a better word will be epic and One Republic. My daughters are actually flying in for this - They love One Republic.  Again- Epic!
This goes without saying that the dental lectures will be amazing as well. Drs. Frank Spear, Cliff Ruddle on Endo and all the great CEREC speakers.
If its seems like I am excited about this event - I am.  I love the camaraderie that occurs and I'm so proud that the technology that I decided to invest in back in the day has flourished.  I love hanging out with CEREC dentists because they are kind, caring and want everyone to succeed. Â
Go to SiroWorld.com - and reserve your spot. Â Ill be there- the CDOCS team will be there- and of course great education, entertainment and camaraderie. Â
See you all in Orlando!!!

I didn't think Sirona would ever be able to top last year's CEREC 30 event. Assumed that by having it yearly it would end up being a smaller version of the previous meetings. Between the amazing educational speakers, OneRepublic, Sir Richard Branson and now Jerry Seinfeld... Holy cr p!  This is Must-See-C.E. Get it? Must See C.E.

I think one thing that will separate this meeting from others is the fact that they have concentrated more on education than ever before. There is just tons of options to learn on any subject that you can imagine. I know personally, i'm going to write a brand new presentation on all the new stuff that I have been working on and not hold a single thing back. So be ready!
Plus... i'm personally very excited for the entertainment. I have never had an opportunity to see Jerry Seinfeld live and it's always been on my "bucket list". It's going to be awesome to see him live! I also will admit that i'm a closet One Republic fan and have all their albums. I have seen them in concert twice before and trust me... they are truly incredible!
I also had an opportunity to talk to Fred Joyal a little bit about Sir Richard Branson. He told me about him a little bit more and some of the personal time he got to spend with him a few weeks ago. Just from listening to Fred... I think Richard Branson could quite possibly be the highlight of the entire event. He sounds like he can deliver life changing information!
Skipped the Train concert in Vegas and was the fifth wheel with Bob Conte and Marc Thomas and their lovely wives and went to Caesars' to see Seinfeld. Clean act not a swear word to be heard. Personally I'd rather see Larry David or even better Lisa Lampenelli. But I don't think Lisa would go over to well unless you could convince her to roast Mike or Sam. Oh boy.
Larry David is my favorite! There is no show ever created that was funnier than Curb your Enthusiasm.
What do the "tracks" mean? Can you see lectures from whatever or do you have to stick to certain "tracks".

You are not locked into a specific group. Tracks are set up as an aid to organize you meeting. In the past we have been given an agenda builder a few weeks out to select who we want to listen to. This is important to fill out so rooms cn be sized accordingly

This is going to be a great meeting. With all the different CE opportunities there is something for everyone.
And of course the entertainment is going to be awesome. I'm really excited about all there is to offer.
This event is still a few months away but I'm excited.  Sirona has always put on a great show with entertainment and learning,  Got the plane tickets for the wife and I.  Ready to go!
I have never missed a Sirona event. I have been honored to speak at the last 3 and again at Siroworld. This venue looks great. The entertainment is top notch as only Sirona does but I'm looking forward to 2 things. 1) all the different tracks in things beyond Cerec. So many amazing topics to learn about with the endo, cone beam, practice management and other things. I look forward to a well rounded educational event. 2) the camaraderie. These events are unparalleled in getting together with amazing friends who you have a connection with because of the common CEREC thread that ties us but has grown into so much more. It is always so much fun getting together with everyone for these huge gatherings. I'm hoping to bring my cousin, who is going into his jr year in dental school, to show him how awesome this community is and how much fun it can be doing what we do.
Sorry to "revive" this post. But what does one's spouse do? I'd love to go and would like to bring the mrs. along, but she has nothing to do with the dental field other than handling some of the office business.
What is available for her to do, solo or would she just be bored?
Thanks!
Trevor-
Obviously there are many events in the evening that she will enjoy (concert with One Republic, Seinfeld, etc...). She may also really enjoy some of the keynote speakers like Richard Branson. I'm sure he will relate in a way well beyond dentistry. That is the speaker i'm looking forward to most.
During the day there is obviously the pool (although I'm sure it's going to be hot) and Orlando has many different things to do not far from the hotel. I've never been to the Hotel, but they may have other things as well. I would even call the Hotel and ask for recommendations from them.
Sit by the pool during the day and drink margaritas and go to seinfeld and one republic at night.
make it happen, you wont regret it.

This makes my spouse happy. Sleeping late is a bonus. The reality is that the educational stuff over the 2 1/2 days is not 100% mandatory. You can pick and choose based on your interests and hang out with your wife as much or as little as you please. There is a business track and a practice management tract if she does some work in the office those may be interesting. It would be worth it for sure.

The liver damage may set him back a year!
Thanks for the info guys. I am working to see if we can clear the already scheduled hygiene from that Thursday:-)
Hopefully I'll see ya'll there. Either way, see you next weekend;-)
This will be my first time attending. Noticed that the break out sessions are scheduled for one hour each. So is each course one hour duration? Seems too short?
Hi Domenic! The breakouts will be packed with great content and the one hour offers more variety so everyone feels they are getting value and the content they want. Sirona does an amazing job! The entire culture of the meeting is magnetic and you can't help but want to go home and do cases right away and put the pearls that you learned to use. See you there!!
