Advanced Cone Beam Diagnostics (CB2)
| 13 CE Credits Prerequisites: NoneThis workshop is NOT taught on the Sidexis software. Please refer to our Cone Beam Basic Training to learn that software, as this workshop's emphasis is radiographic interpretation and how to interpret pathology using a platform called Invivo, which is universal and can open any scan on any device
This course is hands on and case based and designed to prepare each participant to systematically review a CBCT volume, recognize and categorize signs of abnormalities and how to manage the resultant findings. Learning will be facilitated using CBCT cases from the board certified oral maxillofacial radiologists teaching the course. Each participant will gain a deeper understanding of the tremendous diagnostic potential of CBCT imaging as well as increased confidence in reviewing scans for abnormalities. In addition, you will learn how to interact with maxillofacial radiologists as the go to expert consultants where abnormalities are recognized but not completely understood.
Each participant will have a dedicated computer to allow for ample hands-on training and will spend ample time reviewing and learning various oral pathologies that can be found on a cone beam scan.
Staff seating is limited and on a first come, first serve basis.
