| 13 CE Credits Prerequisites: Basic Dental Sciences: Completion of foundational courses in dental anatomy, physiology, and pathology.Radiology and Imaging: Familiarity with dental radiography and imaging techniques.
Clinical Dentistry: Prior experience in general clinical dentistry, including patient management and treatment planning.
Periodontics: Basic understanding of periodontics and its relationship with orthodontics.
This course provides an in-depth introduction to the field of orthodontics, focusing on the diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of dental and facial irregularities. Students will explore the growth and development of the dentition and jaw structures, as well as learn various orthodontic treatment modalities such as braces, aligners, and functional appliances.
